I saw this giraffe and another below and couldn't help thinking of Johanna who blogs over at Green Gourmet Giraffe.  I think she would love these.
Marseille's buildings are steeped in rich history.  I marvelled at them, every time I walked by one that - Yes, its true what they say about tourists - You know how to spot them?  They are the ones who tend to look up!  I know, I was one of them.

Healthy Vegan - Pineapple Jalapeno Salsa

My first ever experience of a fruit in a salsa was at a deli, the name of the place escapes me - it may not even be there anymore as this was 10 years ago.   Anyway, it was a salsa made with mangoes.  I have bee n making fruit salsas on and off since.  Last year it was Strawberry Salsa and a few year before that it was Papaya Salsa and way before that  Kiwi Salsa .      Today on this bright sunny day, I share you with Pineapple Jalapeno Salsa.   Handsome Whippet and Pineapple Jalapeno Salsa Most salsas are made with fresh tomatoes, but this Pineapple Jalapeno one is not but enhanced further with red onions and my absolute favourite herb, fresh coriander.  This salsa was really lovely and complimented the Green Chile, but of course you can dip your tortilla chips in this chunky refreshing salsa.  On another note, a little while back a fellow blogger asked me about the  images  in the  background  of so...

Healthy Vegan - Festive Shenanigans at Work

Work has been busy with deadlines to complete, that I find myself too tired to come home and then sit in front of the computer to blog, but I have found some energy today.  Giant Santa Claus in Bristol I don't have much to share in the way of cooking at home at the moment, so today I thought I would share some festive shenanigans from work.   Here is a Christmas tree made from scratch with green paper and then decorated with mini baubles.  Even I made an effort making a gold 3D angel topper for my Christmas tree at home.  At work, colleagues decided to spruce up the workplace and do a cheap and cheerful challenge called Pimp your Pod.  Surprisingly, me and my colleagues came first with our simple cascading tinsel Christmas tree.   But fair play to the runners up with their Stranger Things Wall theme , though not everyone got it - thinking it was a ouiji board!  By the way it was more effective and impressive with the lights turned ...
